The Sidewalks
The Sidewalks are a fantastic fivesome from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who are redefining ska by incorporating influences drawn from mainstream pop, '90s rock, '80s metal and their dads' worn out record collections from the '70s. They fuse these styles together and garnished them with tight, melodic brass to produce what they've coined as "Skalternative Rock."
Delivering an energetic live show, writing catchy songs and piecing together an ever-growing fanbase, they've proudly shared the stage with such acts as illScarlett, FRED, The Artist Life, You Say Party! We Say Die!, Attack in Black as well as a number of Island acts including Tim Chaisson & Morning Fold, The Grass Mountain Hobos, and Cathern MacLellan.
Cody Allen Band
After years of touring coast to coast, Cody Allen and his band have made a name for themselves as a solid live touring act. With club owners and promoters, constantly booking him across the country, describing him as one of Canada’s best kept secrets. Often described as having a beautiful, distinct voice; raspy, plaintive, yet powerful and fluid, Cody Allen's lyrics are unique, strong, observant and full of feeling, a writer who gently distorts the world and makes listeners hear it in a new way.

Alaniaris
Alaniaris are a Toronto-based trio who play an aggressive mixture of Greek traditional songs and original compositions, delivered with an energetic and improvisational approach that borrows equally from rock, jazz, no wave, and surf music. Audiences get the point immediately when Alaniaris plays: the music feels spontaneous, powerful, and right. It's as if the band is channelling the missing link between Albert Ayler and Dick Dale.

Hosannas
Portland, Oregon's Hosannas have managed to amass a sizable following along the West Coast over the last 3 years with their intense tour ethic and consistent presence in the Portland house show scene. Brothers Brandon and Richard Laws grew up listening to Kraftwerk and The Beach Boys. These disparate influences are at the core of the duo's haunting vocal harmonies, rich verbal imagery and unpredictable guitar. Add to this combination Christof Hendrickson's Rhodes, Moog and Omnikorg and Lane Barrington's tasteful, dynamic percussion for an invigorating, original sound. The band’s influences are as diverse as their instrumentation; comfortable mixing Bollywood samples with tin-foil piano, hushed a capella harmonies with tribal crescendos, and plenty of thick, warm, over-driven guitar.
